Online Advisors - London (x4) – Contract Opportunity

Are you passionate about supporting individuals through online interventions? We are seeking Online Advisors to join our dedicated team in London for an exciting contract role lasting 2 weeks. If you have experience in delivering digital support, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping others overcome challenges, this opportunity is perfect for you!

About the Role:

As an Online Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing remote support to individuals affected by gambling harms. You will deliver a range of online interventions, including one-to-one and group sessions, via platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and online chatrooms, helping clients at all stages of recovery. The role offers flexible working hours, with some shifts ending at 8pm, designed to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and information to gamblers and impacted others through digital channels, including telephone, video, and chat.
  • Conduct initial assessments to ensure clients access appropriate support services.
  • Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans, monitoring outcomes and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Support and mentor recovery coaches, contributing to service development and online support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to support client wellbeing.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols, ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times.
  • Participate in supervision sessions, training, and continuous professional development activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Professional qualification or proven experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, or Addictions.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital or online support delivery.
  • Knowledge of gambling harms, safeguarding, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across digital channels.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and video conferencing software.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and maintain clear professional boundaries.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including two late shifts per week (12:00-20:00).
  • Willing to attend occasional meetings at our London HQ (expenses paid).
