Panel Inclusion Officer
Location: Medway Council

Medway Council is seeking a proactive Panel Inclusion Officer to support our Education & SEND team. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to play a key role in ensuring fair access, supporting schools and families, and contributing to the smooth running of our panels and processes.

Medway Council is seeking a proactive Panel Inclusion Officer to support our Education & SEND team. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to play a key role in ensuring fair access, supporting schools and families, and contributing to the smooth running of our panels and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in administering Fair Access Panels, Exclusion Panels, and Attendance Pre-Court Panels.
- Liaise with schools and families on admissions matters and respond to enquiries within agreed timescales.
- Support the recording and issuing of Penalty Notices, working alongside the Penalty Notice & Child Employment Coordinator.
- Collate documentation for legal processes relating to exclusion, suspension, and attendance.
- Process, maintain, and monitor departmental data and records, identifying anomalies and escalating as required.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with departmental policies, producing statistics to support effective management.
- Provide additional administration support to the wider Inclusion Team as required.
- Experience in education administration, preferably in inclusion or SEND.
- Strong communication skills with schools, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage data and record-keeping with high accuracy.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
