The role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.

About the Role: Paraplanner

The successful Paraplanner will play a critical role in supporting financial advisors by preparing comprehensive suitability reports, annual review packs, and assisting with client fact-finding processes. This is a fantastic chance to work in a client-focused environment, primarily based in Poulton, with the flexibility of working from home one day a week once established.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Prepare suitability reports based on received fact finds from financial advisors
  • Assist in preparing annual review packs for clients
  • Evaluate client data and compile detailed reports to support financial planning advice
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures
  • Collaborate with the financial advisory team to ensure accurate and efficient report delivery
  • Manage client information securely and professionally using IO competency software or equivalent back-office systems

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Paraplanner or similar role within financial planning
  • Proven ability to prepare suitability reports and annual review packs
  • Familiarity with IO competency systems or equivalent back-office tools
  • Strong understanding of financial advising processes and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and attention to detail
  • Preferably local to Poulton or within commutable distance
