This is an exciting opportunity for a performance, insight or business intelligence professional to play a key role in helping shape organisational decision-making through the delivery of high-quality performance reporting, customer insight and strategic analysis. Working closely with senior leaders, stakeholders and Board members, you will provide evidence-based insights that drive continuous improvement and enhance services for customers across the organisation.

The Role

As Performance & Insight Business Partner, you will act as the trusted lead for performance reporting, research and insight across a range of business areas. You will work closely with operational and strategic stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, deliver meaningful analysis and ensure performance information supports informed decision-making at all levels.

You will also lead customer research and insight projects, manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, and contribute to organisation-wide improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the development and delivery of performance reports, dashboards, scorecards and management information.
  • Producing insightful analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitoring performance against targets, trends and benchmarks, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Translating complex data and technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for a range of audiences.
  • Leading customer research and insight projects using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Acting as the Performance & Insight representative on organisation-wide projects.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and account managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of KPIs, performance frameworks and reporting processes.
  • Contributing to regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Supporting data quality initiatives and promoting a culture of evidence-based decision-making.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders, Board members and other key stakeholders.
About You:
  • Significant experience within performance reporting, business intelligence, data analysis or a similar discipline.
  • Experience leading customer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience translating complex information into meaningful business insight and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence, advise and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, management reports and performance frameworks.
  • Confidence working with technology and supporting data-related projects and system improvements.
  • Experience managing relationships with external suppliers, partners or account managers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging a wide range of audiences.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using reporting and data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with Power BI would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A relevant qualification, or equivalent experience, in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, performance management or a related field.
Desirable Experience:
  • Knowledge of the social housing sector and regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of governance, risk management and regulatory reporting requirements.
What's on Offer?
  • Salary of £56,385.
  • Hybrid working arrangement with approximately 2 days per week in the office.
  • Fixed-term contract until March 2027 with potential for the role to become permanent.
  • Opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Exposure to senior leadership, Board members and high-profile projects.
  • A chance to contribute to service improvements that positively impact customers and communities.
