This is initially a temporary role offering a pay rate of £18.16ph.  This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in leaving care to provide vital support to vulnerable individuals. About the Role: Personal Advisor

As a Personal Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to support young people transitioning from care. You will act as a trusted guide, helping them navigate their personal development, education, employment, and independence. Your role is crucial in ensuring these young individuals receive the guidance and assistance they need to thrive.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-to-one support to young people leaving care
• Develop individualised support plans aligned with each person's needs
• Assist with life skills, housing, education, and employment opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to deliver comprehensive support
• Advocate on behalf of young people to ensure their voices are heard
• Monitor progress and adapt support strategies as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience working with young people leaving care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly
• Knowledge of leaving care legislation and best practices
• Resilient and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable individuals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
