Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Primary Care (Bury) Dates: Monday to Friday, 12th–16th January (the potential of more shifts)
Pay: £16 per hour (Umbrella)
System: EMIS

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for one of our Primary Care clients in Bury. We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join the team for the above dates.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture on adult patients (and children if competent)
• Ensure correct labelling, handling, and dispatch of blood samples
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records on EMIS
• Follow infection control and health & safety protocols at all times
• Reassure patients and provide a professional, patient-centred service
• Identify and report any abnormal findings or complications appropriately

Requirements

• Proven phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Phlebotomy certificate essential
• EMIS experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
