Locum Practice Nurse – GP Surgery (Spirometry Clinics) Location: Nottingham (near Ripley)
Pay: £30 p/h (LTD)
Hours: 10:00 – 17:00 (30 minute break)

Working Pattern: Ad hoc | Flexible | Part Time | Approx. 3 days per month
About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to support a well established and friendly GP surgery located near Ripley, Nottingham. This role is ideal for nurses who prefer flexible, low commitment work, while still delivering high?quality patient care within a supportive primary care team.
You will be responsible for running independent Spirometry clinics, so confidence in respiratory assessment and patient management is essential.

You will be responsible for running independent Spirometry clinics, so confidence in respiratory assessment and patient management is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering autonomous Spirometry clinics using SpiroConnect
- Conducting accurate lung function testing and interpreting results
- Supporting the management of patients with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions
- Ensuring clear documentation and patient safety throughout
- Working collaboratively with the GP and wider clinical team where required
- Maintaining high clinical standards and adhering to practice protocols
- Previous experience working within a GP surgery or primary care setting
- Strong competency and confidence in Spirometry (including use of SpiroConnect)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own clinic list
- Up to date clinical training and professional registration (NMC)
- Familiarity with EMIS is preferred
- Highly flexible sessions – perfect for nurses needing occasional monthly work
