Locum Practice Nurse – GP Surgery (Spirometry Clinics) Location: Nottingham (near Ripley)
Pay: £30 p/h (LTD)
Hours: 10:00 – 17:00 (30 minute break)
System: EMIS
Working Pattern: Ad hoc | Flexible | Part Time | Approx. 3 days per month

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to support a well established and friendly GP surgery located near Ripley, Nottingham. This role is ideal for nurses who prefer flexible, low commitment work, while still delivering high?quality patient care within a supportive primary care team.

You will be responsible for running independent Spirometry clinics, so confidence in respiratory assessment and patient management is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering autonomous Spirometry clinics using SpiroConnect
• Conducting accurate lung function testing and interpreting results
• Supporting the management of patients with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions
• Ensuring clear documentation and patient safety throughout
• Working collaboratively with the GP and wider clinical team where required
• Maintaining high clinical standards and adhering to practice protocols

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a GP surgery or primary care setting
• Strong competency and confidence in Spirometry (including use of SpiroConnect)
• Ability to work independently and manage your own clinic list
• Up to date clinical training and professional registration (NMC)
• Familiarity with EMIS is preferred
