Practice Nurse – Primary Care
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to join their proactive and friendly team, based in Brighton. The successful candidate will support the GP surgery within clinics, covering two sites on a full-time basis.
Location: Brighton, BN1 & BL2
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £43,663 - £48,468 DOE per annum

Role Overview

Key Duties
- Manage long-term conditions (Asthma, COPD, CHD, Diabetes, Hypertension, CKD) including QoF annual reviews
- Deliver women’s health services including cervical cytology, contraception, and menopause support
- Provide immunisations (adult & childhood), travel health, and health promotion
- Undertake clinical procedures including wound care, phlebotomy, ECGs, blood pressure and glucose monitoring
- Carry out NHS Health Checks and cardiovascular risk assessments
- Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate appropriately
- Maintain accurate clinical records and work within practice protocols
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Strong primary care experience
- Experience in chronic disease management and women’s health
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
