Principal Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected Local Authority based in Manchester for an experienced Principal Property Lawyer to join their legal team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal professional to take on a leadership role within a busy and supportive local government environment.

Location: Manchester (Fully Remote)
Hourly Umbrella Rate:  £55–£60 per hour (Umbrella)
PAYE (Inc.Hol): £48.89 - £53.28 Per Hour
Duration: 6 Months Ongoing Contract
 
Key Responsibilities as a Principal Property Lawyer:

• Managing a varied caseload of complex commercial and residential property matters
• Providing expert legal advice to council departments, officers, and elected members
• Handling high-value transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and regeneration projects
• Supporting and supervising junior lawyers and legal staff where necessary

 
About you as a Principal Property Lawyer:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with significant post-qualification experience in Property Law.
• Strong background in property law, ideally within a local authority setting
• Proven ability to handle complex and high-value property transactions independently.
