About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable Prison Cleaner to join our team at Guys Marsh Prison in Shaftesbury, Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness while contributing to a safe, secure, and well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring all designated areas of the prison are kept clean, hygienic, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and responsible waste disposal. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures are essential.
Working Hours & Contract
This is a full-time position offering a 39-hour contract. Standard working hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, providing a consistent and structured schedule.
Salary & Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £26,575.65 per annum, depending on experience. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a secure working environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are punctual, trustworthy, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Professionalism, resilience, and respect for procedures are vital when working within a prison setting.
