We are seeking a dedicated Probation officer Eastbourne - OP1 xxxx to join our client on a short-term contract (2 weeks) in Eastbourne. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can quickly build rapport, support service users, and help maintain effective probation processes during a time-sensitive placement.

Candidate responsibilities

As a Probation officer Eastbourne - OP1 xxxx, your role will include:

• Managing a caseload in line with relevant policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements
• Supporting individuals to reduce reoffending and improve outcomes through structured interventions
• Preparing clear case notes, risk assessments, and court/management documentation where required
• Monitoring compliance and supporting progression plans, liaising with relevant stakeholders
• Contributing to team information sharing, audits, and service delivery improvements
• Working to deadlines and maintaining accurate records throughout the assignment
