Candidate Responsibilities:
As a Probation Officer - YJS Secondment - No OP1, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supervising youth offenders within the community
• Developing risk assessments and intervention strategies tailored to individual cases
• Collaborating with multi-agency teams to support rehabilitation efforts
• Providing case reports and updates to relevant stakeholders
• Keeping accurate and detailed case records
• Supporting the transition of cases between YJS and Probation as needed
• Contributing to the overall safety and well-being of young offenders and the community

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Probation Officer (ID: 1001062)
• Strong knowledge of youth justice procedures and legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid compliance checks and relevant safeguarding certificates (if applicable)
