Duration: 3 months initially, with potential for extension
Pay: £19Ltd 

Role Overview Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker to join a dedicated team in Durham. This is a full-time temporary role supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse, helping them progress through recovery and reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of service users, developing and reviewing recovery plans
• Conduct triage and comprehensive assessments
• Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver shared interventions
• Facilitate access to treatment and community resources
• Lead case management including risk and safeguarding assessments
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and attend reviews and meetings
• Support families and reduce the impact of substance misuse on family life
• Deliver psychosocial interventions in both group and one-to-one formats

Requirements

• Experience in substance misuse, mental health, or social care settings
• Strong communication and case management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Familiarity with online case management systems is desirable
