Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist Substance Misuse Service. The successful candidate will support individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse, helping them progress through treatment and recovery-focused interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
£250 New starter Bonus on offer for this role and a £250 Training allowance.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist Substance Misuse Service. The successful candidate will support individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse, helping them progress through treatment and recovery-focused interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of service users with substance misuse needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans
- Deliver structured one-to-one interventions and harm reduction advice
- Support service users with relapse prevention, engagement, and recovery goals
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
- Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with service requirements
- Proven experience working within the substance misuse sector
- Strong understanding of drug and alcohol treatment pathways
- Experience in care planning, risk management, and recovery-focused work
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Relevant qualification (e.g. Health & Social Care, Addiction Studies, or similar)
- Experience working with complex needs (mental health, homelessness, offending history)
- Competitive pay rate up to £23 per hour (umbrella)
