Recovery Worker – Substance Misuse Service (PR1) Rate: £18.14 – £20.62 per hour (PAYE excl.) / £20.15 – £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Location: PR1
Contract: 2?month initial contract with strong potential to extend or move permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

The Role – Key Responsibilities As a Recovery Worker, you will provide structured, person?centred support to individuals from the moment they enter the service. Your duties will include:

The Role – Key Responsibilities As a Recovery Worker, you will provide structured, person?centred support to individuals from the moment they enter the service. Your duties will include:
- Completing comprehensive assessments for service users
- Supporting individuals throughout the full recovery pathway, from point of entry through to discharge
- Undertaking screenings, assessments, and developing effective Recovery Plans
- Delivering 1:1 interventions tailored to individual needs
- Managing a caseload using effective key?working approaches
- Developing and reviewing Care Plans in collaboration with multi?disciplinary teams
- Providing health and wellbeing support related to Substance Misuse
- Promoting motivation, harm reduction, and long?term recovery strategies
- Previous experience working within the Substance Misuse or Recovery field
- Strong understanding of issues relating to drug and alcohol addiction
- Experience in Key Working, Care Planning, and caseload management
- Ability to engage individuals with complex needs
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
