Recovery Worker - Blackpool

Service Care Solutions is partnering with a well-established non-profit organisation to recruit a Recovery Worker.

In this role, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse. You will work closely with service users to promote recovery, enhance wellbeing, and empower them to achieve positive, long-term outcomes through tailored support and intervention.

Role: Recovery Coordinator
Rate: £18.14 to £20.62 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ £20.15 to £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Location: Blackpool 
Working: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours, on-site. 
Contract: 3 months on going 

Role Overview:

• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of service users.
• Provide support and guidance to individuals from the point of referral and throughout their recovery journey.
• Complete screening assessments and develop personalised recovery plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver both one-to-one interventions and facilitate group-based recovery sessions.
• Demonstrate previous experience working within the substance misuse and addiction sector.
• Possess a sound understanding of the physical, mental, and social health issues associated with substance misuse.
• Have experience in key working, case management, and developing person-centred care and recovery plans.
