Are You Ready to Lead a Home That Changes Lives? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home and make a lasting difference to the lives of young people.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in children's residential care who is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional care.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and staff development.

You will lead a dedicated team in creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive, achieve their potential, and build positive futures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management of the home
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Promote outstanding safeguarding practices and positive outcomes for young people
  • Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing staff team
  • Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • Monitor and improve service quality through robust auditing and quality assurance processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across all areas of the service
About You We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
  • Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs and behaviours
  • Ability to drive positive outcomes and achieve regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to complete
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Right to work in the UK
