Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and management of the home
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
- Promote outstanding safeguarding practices and positive outcomes for young people
- Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing staff team
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals, families, and stakeholders
- Monitor and improve service quality through robust auditing and quality assurance processes
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across all areas of the service
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs and behaviours
- Ability to drive positive outcomes and achieve regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to complete
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
