Dove Adolescent Services is recruiting a Registered Manager – Doncaster to launch and lead a brand-new 4-bed EBD children’s home in Doncaster (DN9). About the Role: Registered Manager – Doncaster

As the Registered Manager – Doncaster, you will be responsible for establishing a high-quality residential service that provides safe, nurturing, and effective support for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Your leadership will influence every aspect of the new home's operation, from recruitment to compliance and delivering positive outcomes for children.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Registered Manager – Doncaster

• Lead the registration and establishment of the brand-new children's residential home
• Recruit, develop, and manage a skilled staff team
• Oversee daily operations focusing on high standards of care and compliance
• Drive occupancy targets to ensure service sustainability
• Manage budgets, staffing, and performance to meet budgets and KPIs
• Deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
• Promote a positive, nurturing culture within the home
• Attend management and strategic meetings at Dove’s Head Office in Pontefract

Candidate Skills Required for the Registered Manager – Doncaster

• Minimum 2–3 years' leadership experience within children's residential services
• Ideally experienced in opening and registering new children's homes
• Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (completed or in progress)
• Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and lead a stand-alone service
• Excellent communication and team management skills

• £54,080 basic salary with earning potential up to £64,280 through bonuses
• Occupancy bonus of £600 per month
