As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operational delivery, quality, compliance, and performance of the service, ensuring customers receive exceptional care and support within a safe, responsive, and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Supported Accommodation Service, ensuring high standards of care, support, and customer outcomes.
- Oversee accommodation standards, health and safety compliance, and service quality across the provision.
- Manage and develop a team of dedicated staff, providing leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure customers receive personalised support that promotes independence, wellbeing, choice, and quality of life.
- Maintain compliance with national care standards, safeguarding requirements, legislation, and council policies.
- Monitor service performance, maintain accurate records, and use data to identify trends and drive service improvements.
- Ensure the safe administration and management of medication where applicable.
- Manage service budgets effectively, ensuring financial accountability and compliance with council regulations.
- Build strong partnerships with health professionals, local authorities, housing providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice throughout the service.
You will demonstrate:
- Previous management experience within supported accommodation, social care, housing support, or a related adult care setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred care, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Excellent organisational, administration, and ICT skills.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and delivering outstanding customer-focused services.
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota, including evenings and weekends.
