About the Role

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead a multidisciplinary team while ensuring adherence to CQC standards. You will play a pivotal role in managing clinical and governance aspects of the ADHD assessment and prescribing service in Solihull. This role is flexible regarding hours, offering part-time or full-time employment to suit your circumstances. The salary is dependent on experience, with an attractive benefits package included.

Candidate Responsibilities

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ADHD assessments aligned with NICE guidelines
• Providing post-diagnostic support to clients
• Maintaining governance standards around assessments, reports, and prescriptions
• Managing consent, documentation, and patient safety protocols
• Ensuring comprehensive risk assessments are completed and regularly reviewed
• Supervising clinicians and managing their compliance with registration requirements
• Handling clinical complaints and safeguarding issues
• Acting as the designated Registered Manager for CQC registration
• Leading the CQC application process and coordinating inspections
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with all regulatory standards
• Preparing policies and procedures, managing statutory notifications, and supporting safeguarding efforts
• Handling incidents, complaints, and serious concerns, undertaking investigations when necessary

Essential Requirements

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Proven experience within the ADHD pathway
• Previous experience with CQC registration in a clinical leadership capacity
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical integrity
• Strong focus on quality and compliance

Desirable Skills

• Formal training in DIVA and/or ACE assessment tools
• Experience in prescribing or overseeing prescribing roles
