As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing safe and nurturing care to children in our residential facility. Your main responsibility will be supporting children with their daily needs, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring their well-being. Candidate Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a residential setting
• Support children with day-to-day activities, encouraging independence and personal development
• Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress and incidents
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support children’s needs
• Respond appropriately to challenging behaviour using approved intervention techniques

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience caring for children in a residential setting
• An enhanced DBS check for children
• Valid physical intervention certificate from Team Teach or MAPPA
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
