About the Role:
As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play an integral role in managing cases from inception to completion, ensuring smooth transaction progressions and delivering outstanding client service. The Residential Conveyancing Paralegal will handle various administrative tasks, coordinate with clients and third parties, and support solicitors in their day-to-day activities. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, with a 2-week contract duration.

Key Responsibilities of the Residential Conveyancing Paralegal:

• Assist with and manage residential conveyancing files, including preparing and submitting offers.
• Draft conveyancing documentation and review search results.
• Deal with title deeds, reports, and the registration process.
• Order and review searches effectively, ensuring timely progression of cases.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, lenders, and third parties.
• Update case management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with AML and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle post-settlement activities such as LBTT submissions and registration tasks.
• Provide administrative support to solicitors as required.

Candidate Requirements for the Residential Conveyancing Paralegal:

• Relevant paralegal qualification or equivalent conveyancing experience.
• Proven experience working within residential conveyancing in Scotland.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Familiarity with Registers of Scotland processes and LBTT submissions (desirable).
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Professional attitude with a proactive and flexible approach.
