Residential Practitioner (Bcft) - Contract

Are you an experienced Residential Practitioner (Bcft) looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Practitioner (Bcft) to join a reputable care facility for a 3-month contract period at The Hollies. This is a fantastic chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals while working within a supportive team environment.

About the Residential Practitioner (Bcft) Role

As a Residential Practitioner (Bcft), your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to residents within the facility. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing environment, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their safety at all times.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks including personal care, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Support residents in participating in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete health and incident records.
  • Work effectively within a team to promote a positive and safe environment.
  • Follow care plans and company policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Advocate on behalf of residents to uphold their dignity and rights.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or challenging behaviours.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Residential Practitioner (Bcft) or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable manner.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends.
