Resourcing & People Administrator - Contract (2 Weeks)

Are you an experienced administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your HR and recruitment skills? We are currently recruiting for a Resourcing & People Administrator to join a dynamic team in Seaham SR7 on a temporary contract basis. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience within a busy People team while supporting vital recruitment and employee lifecycle processes.

About the Role – Resourcing & People Administrator
The Resourcing & People Administrator will play a key part in providing comprehensive administrative support, managing HR records, and assisting with recruitment activities. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth HR operations and data compliance.

Candidate Responsibilities – Resourcing & People Administrator

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support within the Resourcing & People team
  • Manage shared HR and recruitment inboxes, responding promptly to queries
  • Support the creation and posting of job adverts, alongside recruitment administration
  • Assist with onboarding, employee changes, and leaver processes, including preparing documentation and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system (iTrent)
  • Produce reports to support People data analysis and reporting needs
  • Process invoices and support payment administration activities
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and information security standards

Candidate Profile – Resourcing & People Administrator

  • Previous administrative experience within an office environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Experience within HR or People functions (desirable)
  • Knowledge of HR systems, particularly iTrent (advantageous)
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards it (preferred)

This is a temporary 2-week contract based on a 35-hour week, starting as soon as possible. The role requires on-site presence in Seaham with a minimum of one day per week, typically Thursdays.
