About the Role: RSW - Leicestershire Changing Lives

As an RSW - Leicestershire Changing Lives, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality support to children in residential settings. You will work closely with teams to promote well-being, ensure safety, and help young people develop essential life skills. If you have experience as a Childrens Residential Worker and possess a genuine desire to create positive change, this role is perfect for you.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people in residential care
• Assisting with daily routines, including meal preparation, activities, and personal care
• Monitoring and recording behaviour, progress, and incidents accurately
• Building trusting relationships with children and promoting their development
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored care plans
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents
• Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

Required Skills:

• Experience as a Childrens Residential Worker or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations
