Scrub nurse

Scrub Nurse – Rotherham NHS (Band 5)
Pay: £21.35/hour (Umbrella)
Contract: ADHOC – High Shift Availability

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Scrub Nurse to work within Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust on a Band 5 basis.

This is an ADHOC contract with plenty of shift availability. Shift options include:

• Early: 08:00 – 12:30
• Late: 13:00 – 18:00
• Full Day: 08:00 – 18:00

Job Specification:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as part of the theatre team.
• Prepare operating theatres and surgical instruments.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
• Previous experience in a scrub nurse role within the NHS or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and infection control.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Up-to-date mandatory training and immunisations.
