SEN QA Officer – Exciting Contract Opportunity (2 Weeks)

Are you an experienced SEN QA Officer looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic SEND service? We are currently seeking a highly skilled SEN QA Officer to support a busy SEND team on a 2-week contract basis. This fully remote role offers an excellent platform to utilize your expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and statutory EHCP processes.

Job Title: SEN QA Officer

Employment Type: Contract (2 weeks)

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: £300 per day (Umbrella)

Candidate Responsibilities:

As a SEN QA Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • QA of Proposed Amendment Plans (PAPs)

    • Fully quality assure all PAPs before they are issued
    • Ensure amendments from professionals and settings are accurately reflected
    • Check consistency across Sections B, F, and I following proposed changes
    • Confirm that all plans are clear, specific, and legally compliant
  • Compliance & Statutory Process

    • Ensure statutory amendment procedures (notifications, timelines, rights) are rigorously followed
    • Verify amendments are properly evidenced and fully justified
    • Ensure documentation meets decision-making thresholds (amend vs. maintain)
  • Funding & Panel Preparation

    • Review and validate funding requests from PAPs
    • Ensure uplifts or reductions are evidence-based and match provision changes
    • Prepare cases for funding panels, ensuring they are clear, defensible, and audit-ready
  • Workflow & Quality Consistency

    • Maintain consistency across high-volume PAP outputs
    • Support timely turnaround within the amendment process
    • Collaborate with case officers and support teams for smooth workflow

About You:

The ideal SEN QA Officer will have strong experience in SEND QA work, specifically with EHCPs and amendments. A solid understanding of statutory compliance, Section B/F/I consistency, and statutory amendment processes is essential.
