SEN QA Officer – Exciting Contract Opportunity (2 Weeks)
Are you an experienced SEN QA Officer looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic SEND service? We are currently seeking a highly skilled SEN QA Officer to support a busy SEND team on a 2-week contract basis. This fully remote role offers an excellent platform to utilize your expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and statutory EHCP processes.

Pay Rate: £300 per day (Umbrella)
Candidate Responsibilities:
As a SEN QA Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:

QA of Proposed Amendment Plans (PAPs)
- Fully quality assure all PAPs before they are issued
- Ensure amendments from professionals and settings are accurately reflected
- Check consistency across Sections B, F, and I following proposed changes
- Confirm that all plans are clear, specific, and legally compliant

Compliance & Statutory Process
- Ensure statutory amendment procedures (notifications, timelines, rights) are rigorously followed
- Verify amendments are properly evidenced and fully justified
- Ensure documentation meets decision-making thresholds (amend vs. maintain)

Funding & Panel Preparation
- Review and validate funding requests from PAPs
- Ensure uplifts or reductions are evidence-based and match provision changes
- Prepare cases for funding panels, ensuring they are clear, defensible, and audit-ready

Workflow & Quality Consistency
- Maintain consistency across high-volume PAP outputs
- Support timely turnaround within the amendment process
- Collaborate with case officers and support teams for smooth workflow

About You:
The ideal SEN QA Officer will have strong experience in SEND QA work, specifically with EHCPs and amendments. A solid understanding of statutory compliance, Section B/F/I consistency, and statutory amendment processes is essential.
