Are you an experienced SEND Caseworker looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Send Caseworker Assessment and Review to join a dynamic team on a full-time contract basis. About the Role: Send Caseworker Assessment and Review

As a Send Caseworker Assessment and Review, your responsibilities will include managing an active caseload of children and young people across various settings, including EOTAS, EHE, or NEET. You will be expected to provide professional assessments, facilitate review meetings, and contribute to termly reviews within schools. Managing SEND Panel decisions and effectively communicating outcomes to families will be a vital part of your role. You will be instrumental in signposting families to appropriate support services and ensuring that each case is managed with the utmost care and professionalism.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Send Caseworker Assessment and Review

  • Manage a busy caseload of children and young people requiring SEND support or statutory assessments
  • Conduct and facilitate review meetings, including termly reviews and assessments in schools
  • Work with children and young people who are EOTAS, EHE, or NEET from receipt of their final plan
  • Handle SEND Panel decisions and collaborate with education providers and support services
  • Communicate effectively with families, providing guidance and signposting to relevant support agencies
  • Ensure all casework documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with legal and procedural standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEND legislation and policies

Candidate Requirements for the Send Caseworker Assessment and Review

  • Proven experience as a SEND caseworker at both SEND support and statutory levels
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation, assessment processes, and review procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle a busy caseload efficiently and professionally
  • Experience working with children excluded or disengaged from mainstream education (EOTAS, EHE, NEET)
  • Full UK driving license and access to transport (preferred but not essential)
