SEND Paralegal

Service Care Solutions is working with a dynamic local authority, based in Berkshire, which is seeking an experienced SEND Paralegal to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy education law function, providing legal assistance on a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) matters.
 
Role: SEND Paralegal
Location: Local Authority in Berkshire - Hybrid / Remote Working Available
Umbrell Rate: £35 - £40 per hour
PAYE Inc. Rate: £30.57 - £34.91 per hour
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting solicitors with SEND and education law matters.
• Preparing bundles and legal documentation for SEND Tribunal cases.
• Liaising with clients, schools, parents, and external parties.

• Previous Paralegal experience is essential.
• Prior experience within an SEND or education law local government legal team is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.

• Hybrid/remote working.
• Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
• Flexible hours.
