SEND Team Manager
We are seeking an experienced SEND Team Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of SEND statutory processes within a defined geographical area and/or for a designated cohort of children and young people.
Location: West Midlands
Duration: Initial 3-month contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Rate: £65.70 umbrella per hour (£50 per hour (PAYE exclusive))

- Lead the coordination and delivery of SEND statutory processes
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and statutory duties
- Apply tactical and strategic decision-making to improve outcomes for children and young people
- Provide robust, evidence-based decision making across complex cases
- Undertake rigorous analysis and synthesis of written and case information
- Manage and control allocation of resources through demand-led budgetary systems
- Support the achievement of local authority performance targets and service standards
- Proven experience in a senior SEND leadership role within a local authority setting
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, statutory frameworks, and guidance
- Experience managing complex casework and service delivery pressures
- Ability to interpret data, assess risk, and make defensible decisions
- Strong financial awareness within demand-led service environments
