Senior Childcare Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a well-known local authority based in Manchester. They are looking for a Senior Childcare Solicitor to join their expanding legal team. This role pays a competitive rate of:

PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.50 - £48.89 per hour  
Umbrella - £50-£55 per hour

The role is for 3 months with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Senior Childcare Solicitor:

• Able to handle high caseload in childcare cases from start to completion.
• Managing complex childcare proceedings, including safeguarding and welfare disputes
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, reports, and court applications
• Advising families, local authorities, and other stakeholders on childcare matters
• Supporting junior team members and guiding legal strategies
• Able to do advocacy when needed

About you as a Senior Childcare Solicitor:

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of experience in childcare law
• Drafting Legal documents to a high-quality standard
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
