Senior Commercial Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a well-known Local authority based in West Yorkshire. They are seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join their team on a 6-month contract basis.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella rate - £65-£70 per hour depending on experience
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £57.68 - £62.07 per hour 

This role is on a contract basis for 6 months but has potential to extend and is FULLY REMOTE.

Responsibilities as a Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor

• Manage a varied and complex caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters.
• Provide high-quality legal advice and support to internal departments, senior officers and stakeholders.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Advise on procurement processes, contractual arrangements and associated legal risks.

About you as a Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor:

• Qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in Commercial Contracts and Procurement Law.
• Previous experience working within a Local Authority or wider public sector environment is desirable, although not essential.
• Experience managing complex commercial contracts and providing strategic legal advice.
