About the Role
We are working in partnership with a highly regarded SEND & Inclusion Service to recruit a Senior EHC Coordinator (Deputy Area Inclusion Lead) on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people aged 0–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will contribute to delivering high-quality, outcome-focused Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensuring statutory processes are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Area Inclusion Hub Leads in overseeing statutory EHC needs assessments and Annual Review processes
- Provide high-level quality assurance of EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, compliant, and outcome-focused
- Manage a complex caseload, ensuring statutory timelines (including the 20-week process) are adhered to
- Coordinate multi-agency input from education, health, and social care professionals
- Maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and stakeholders
- Contribute to service development, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement
We are looking for an experienced SEND professional who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience working within SEND statutory processes
- A strong understanding of what constitutes a high-quality, outcome-focused EHCP
- Extensive experience as an EHC Coordinator or in a similar role
- Confidence managing complex cases and working collaboratively across multi-agency teams
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act and SEND Code of Practice
