Senior Planning Officer (PAWS) – Contract (2 weeks)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Officer (PAWS) to join a short-term contract team for 2 weeks. This role is ideal for a planning professional who can hit the ground running, support day-to-day planning operations, and help ensure timely, accurate outputs using PAWS.

Candidate Responsibilities

As a Senior Planning Officer (PAWS), your duties will include:

  • Managing planning tasks and supporting service delivery across the planning function
  • Using PAWS effectively to capture, update, and maintain planning records
  • Reviewing case information to ensure compliance with relevant planning processes and standards
  • Assisting with planning officer workflow, coordination, and prioritisation to meet deadlines
  • Communicating professionally with internal stakeholders and, where required, external parties
  • Producing clear, audit-ready documentation to support planning decisions

Who you are

To be successful as a Senior Planning Officer (PAWS), you will have relevant planning officer experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced contracting environment. Experience of PAWS is highly desirable, and strong attention to detail is essential.
