Candidate Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical & Engineering, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all costs relating to mechanical and engineering projects from inception to completion
- Preparing tender reports, budgets, and cost plans
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
- Conducting risk assessments and value engineering to maximize project profitability
- Managing subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring accurate payments and validations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Providing regular financial updates to stakeholders and senior management
