Senior Quantity Surveyor - Repairs and Maintenance
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a leading organisation specialising in repairs and maintenance projects? We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage and oversee a range of repairs and maintenance contracts on a permanent basis. Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Repairs and Maintenance
Employment Type: Permanent
Contract Length: 2 weeks (initial scope for assessment and onboarding)
Location: Nationwide (clients across the UK)

Candidate Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Repairs and Maintenance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of quantity surveying for repairs and maintenance contracts
  • Producing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Valuing completed work and managing change orders
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Conducting regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly in repairs and maintenance projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and legalities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., measurements, estimating tools)
