Service Manager – Leaving Care Team
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Working Available)
Rate: £450 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee the Leaving Care Team in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manager with a strong background in children's services and leaving care provision to make a significant impact on the lives of young people transitioning into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Leaving Care Team.
• Ensure high-quality services are delivered in line with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Lead, support, and develop staff to achieve positive outcomes for care leavers.
• Manage performance, budgets, and service improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Significant management experience within Children's Services.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and practice relating to Leaving Care Services.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive service improvements.
• Social Work qualification and registration desirable.

Rate: £450 per day
