Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Social Worker to join their Children’s Services team in Southend on Sea on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and comprehensive casework to children and young people
- Manage a caseload in line with experience, capability, and service requirements
- Complete assessments, care planning, reviews, and statutory visits
- Ensure the highest professional standards are maintained across all areas of practice
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice models
- Produce high quality reports and maintain accurate case records
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies
- Contribute to safeguarding and permanency planning for children and young people
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Good overall knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and social work practice methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi?disciplinary team
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Permanent role with a clear salary progression structure
