Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Medway Council for a qualified Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care service on a permanent basis.
This role is ideal for a Social Worker who is committed to delivering high quality, person centred practice, working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, and upholding safeguarding and professional standards across the service.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to deliver service plan objectives and meet performance targets
- Undertake statutory social work duties in line with relevant legislation and council procedures
- Actively promote safeguarding and ensure the health and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults
- Contribute as a corporate parent to improving outcomes for Medway’s care experienced children and young people
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements
- Participate in regular supervision, performance appraisal, and professional development through the Career Progression Framework
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty
- Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Council health and safety policies, and safe working practices
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Knowledge of social care legislation and statutory responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively, reflectively, and with professional judgement
- Commitment to continuous professional development and high practice standards
