Position Overview:

The Social Worker - Adults 2 (Grade 9) will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing support strategies for adults in need. This role requires a compassionate approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Candidate Responsibilities:

As a Social Worker - Adults 2 (Grade 9), your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and risks
• Developing personalized support plans in collaboration with clients and their families
• Providing advice and guidance on available services and community resources
• Ensuring compliance with local authority policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate, confidential case records
• Advocating for clients’ rights and well-being
• Collaborating with health professionals, carers, and other stakeholders
• Monitoring and reviewing client progress regularly
• Managing a caseload efficiently within statutory and organisational timeframes

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or CSS)
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Previous experience working within adult social care
• Strong assessment and safeguarding skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
