About the Role:

The Social Worker - Adults Lv10 will be responsible for working as part of a dedicated review team, focusing on complex casework and section 42 assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience handling challenging cases, ensuring person-centred approaches, and complying with all safeguarding procedures. This full-time role is contracted in line with MOC guidance, and on-site presence is essential.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and reviews for adult social care cases, including section 42 safeguarding investigations
• Manage complex casework, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to deliver the best outcomes
• Draft detailed reports and care plans
• Attend team meetings, reviews, and relevant court proceedings
• Maintain accurate records in line with organisational standards
• Travel to Stoke for on-site work commitments

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker
• Proven experience with complex casework and safeguarding procedures (section 42)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Willing to travel to Stoke for on-site duties
• Must not have been in a permanent role within the last 12 months
