Social Worker (BCFT DfE) – Contract Role in Bradford

Contract Type: Temporary (Contract)
Salary: £38,220 - £46,142 per annum plus a £3,000 retention payment
Work Pattern: 3 days per week in the office at Farcliffe Family Centre, Bradford

Candidate Responsibilities as a Social Worker (BCFT DfE)

As a Social Worker (BCFT DfE), your role will involve:

• Supporting children and families through various stages including Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre Court Process, and Care Proceedings
• Adopting a restorative and relational-based practice approach to build trust and positive outcomes
• Developing and implementing robust support plans tailored to each child's unique needs
• Engaging effectively with multi-agency teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports in line with statutory requirements
• Putting ‘the child’ at the centre of all decision-making to ensure their safety and wellbeing
• Embracing change and adapting strategies to support vulnerable children and their families efficiently
