We are currently seeking dedicated and dynamic Social Worker (Bcft Dfe) candidates to fill positions across the Keighley & Shipley Locality for our Duty and Assessment teams. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity for social workers who are committed to supporting children and families using restorative and relational-based practice approaches.
Candidate Responsibilities for the Social Worker (Bcft Dfe):
- Manage referrals and conduct assessments to determine children’s needs.
- Support children and families using a restorative, relational approach.
- Work at pace to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Lead and participate in Public Proceedings, Pre-Proceedings, Child Protection, and Child In Need planning.
- Develop and implement child-focused care plans, promoting permanence from the point of referral.
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated support.
- Maintain comprehensive case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Contribute actively to team meetings and case reviews to promote best practice.
