Social Worker – Children’s Services (Qualified)
Location: Lancaster Mill
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £36.00 per hour
Interviews: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Lancaster.
Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake Child & Family (C&A) Assessments
• Develop and implement effective care and support plans for children and families
• Conduct safeguarding investigations in line with statutory guidance
• Manage a varied caseload within a fast-paced duty environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience
• Proven experience within Duty & Assessment or Child Protection (CP) teams
• Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
