💼 The Role
We’re seeking experienced Children’s Social Workers to manage diverse and rewarding caseloads — including child in need, child protection, court proceedings, and looked-after children.
You’ll build meaningful relationships with families, working creatively to deliver safe, positive, and lasting outcomes in a restorative, child-centred environment.

📍 Locations (Countywide Opportunities – 15 Roles)
Choose from teams across Devon:

• North & Mid – Taw View, Barnstaple / Phoenix House, Tiverton (x5)
• South & West – Follaton House, Totnes (x5)
• Exeter & East – County Hall, Exeter (x5)

⏰ Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday | 37 hours per week
• Hybrid working (office & home-based, depending on service needs)
• Minimum 1–2 office days per week required (including duty days)

🚗 Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence & access to a car
• Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience (PQE)
• Social Work England registration

💰 What’s on Offer

• Up to £38 per hour (DOE)
• £150 weekly accommodation/commuter allowance (subject to eligibility – under review end of March 2026)
• Start date: April 2026
