About the Role: Social Worker Experienced - Adults 2

As a Social Worker Experienced - Adults 2, you will be an integral part of our Mental Health Service Team, working closely with individuals facing mental health challenges. You will employ the Three Conversation approach to ensure a person-centred, strengths-based focus, helping clients regain control of their lives and connect with appropriate community resources. Your role involves working within a multi-agency team to deliver high-quality support and manage complex cases, including S117 reviews as part of MDT projects.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of adults with mental health needs, in accordance with relevant legislation and frameworks
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and reviews, including S117 assessments
• Develop and implement person-centred care plans tailored to individual needs
• Support individuals in crisis, fostering independence and resilience
• Engage with families, carers, and community resources to provide holistic support
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all statutory and organizational policies
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet service needs, including occasional on-site work and agile working arrangements

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered with Social Work England with a completed ASYE year or demonstrable equivalent experience in statutory adult social work
• Proven experience working within Adult Social Care, preferably within mental health services
• Knowledge of adult social care legislation, models, and theories
• Experience with MDT working, particularly in mental health settings involving court or multi-agency collaboration
• Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (exceptions may apply under the Equality Act)
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality support

• Competitive pay rate of £38 per hour
• Weekly mileage allowance of £150 for accommodation/commuter expenses
