We are currently hiring for a Social Worker L3 Mental Health to join a well-established Mental Health Team based at Fountain Way Hospital, Salisbury. About the Role:

The Social Worker L3 Mental Health will be responsible for supporting adults aged 18+ with severe and enduring mental health conditions. Working closely with health, social care partners, families, and the individuals themselves, you will deliver tailored social care assessments and support plans aimed at promoting recovery and independence. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining office work, community visits, and remote working to ensure effective and person-centred service delivery.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, working 37 hours per week, with candidates also considered for a 4-day week (no less). Following a successful 12-week temporary period, subject to performance and pre-employment clearances, a permanent position will be offered. Please note: candidates must be genuinely interested in securing a permanent role to be considered.

The Social Worker L3 Mental Health will be responsible for:

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments for adults in community and hospital settings
• Coordinating and arranging appropriate care and support packages
• Working collaboratively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery
• Supporting clients' independence through person-centred planning
• Completing admin tasks in a hybrid working environment, with approximately half of the time in the office and the rest split between home working and community visits
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safeguarding practices
• Participating in supervision and professional development opportunities

Salary and Pay Rate:

The pay rate reflects a permanent salary plus a 7.5% supplement. Exact figures will be discussed during the interview process. Note that Wiltshire Council does not cover travel or accommodation expenses outside the local area.
