Candidate responsibilities

As a Social Worker L3 Sass Ca11 - 1157 Grade K, you will:

• Provide referral and assessment casework, progressing timely plans for children and young people
• Lead on Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection plans, ensuring clear goals and robust multi-agency working
• Apply a “one journey” model, supporting the child from front door through to permanence where required
• Use a protected casework allocation supported by a case weighting tool
• Support legal processes in some cases to secure permanence for children/young people
• Work co-productively with key workers as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Attend and contribute to family and professional meetings, including CIN and Core Group review meetings
