Team Leader – Drug & Alcohol Service

Location: Derbyshire
Rate: Up to £27.00 per hour (Umbrella)
PAYE Inclusive: £23.81 per hour
PAYE (Excluding Holiday Pay): £21.25 per hour
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: 4 days, 09:00-17:00, 30 Hours per week 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a dedicated Drug & Alcohol Service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in substance misuse and team management to lead a passionate team delivering high-quality support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage staff performance, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, and performance reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred interventions in line with organisational policies and best practice.
• Monitor service performance, quality standards, and contractual targets.
• Support safeguarding processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using SystemOne (SystmOne).
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Essential Requirements

• Previous line management experience, including supervising and supporting staff.
• Proven experience working within the drug and alcohol/substance misuse sector.
• Experience using SystmOne (SystemOne).
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one if required).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
