The Team Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing service strategies, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring the team operates efficiently within both office and hybrid working arrangements.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Leaving Care and Care Leavers Team, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
- Manage casework in compliance with statutory requirements, safeguarding, and relevant policies.
- Coordinate team activities, meetings, and training sessions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service outcomes for care leavers.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with partner agencies, families, and young people to promote positive arrangements.
- Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures for the team.
- Maintain a flexible approach, including hybrid working with some office presence as required.
- Proven experience in children’s social care, preferably with leadership or managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of leaving care legislation and safeguarding protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working within a hybrid working environment.
- Competitive pay rate 40 LTD oer hour inclusive of holiday pay or 32.12 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay.
